Free Woman

case study

exclusive duplex residence

project type

brussels

Location

This project was conceived as a work of art in itself. Each piece, each article is unique and makes the place exclusive through noble materials such as leather, bronze, glass and marble. The free and independent woman is at the heart of this place, the one who expresses and liberates herself through art and colours adapted to each living space. How to dare? How to surprise? We will answer this question by revisiting this beautiful flat in Brussels.

From the moment we enter, we are plunged into a world of wood and bronze. Everything is custom made, from the simple door handles to the brass slots that run through the mirror and the wooden wall panels. For this project, we called on our high quality Italian craftsmen. The hallway contains photographic compositions, like a gallery wall, which is a pleasure to look at as you walk through it. The works of art are highlighted by the directional spotlights that illuminate them.

The living area is accessed through a large sliding glass door, made of textured glass and a bronze frame. All the carpets in this flat, as well as the wallpaper in the living room, are designed and created by us. They are signed by Isabel Gómez Studio. The TV cabinet is entirely made to measure. It offers the client the possibility of turning the TV panel towards the living room and vice versa towards the dining room, according to her needs.

In his workspace, we also imagined and designed a custom-made desk. It is a marble top with an organic shape, composed of bronze legs. Its layout allows the client a frame of views to the outside.

In this project, lines and curves coexist through raw and intense colours and materials. The furniture, unique and exclusive, blends in perfectly with the rest, creating a visual uniformity. We want to break the codes by revitalising the simple industrial style, by adding a touch of elegance, both in texture and in form.
